Create an oceanic landscape painting in this three-session class. We will practice the different components of a seascape painting from mixing colors to creating water and wave effects. Students are welcome to work in acrylic or oil paint.

Early Spring Flower Watercolors at Franklin Park Conservatory
Get inspired by tulips, daffodils and other early-spring flowers! In this one-time workshop, we will create a simple, colorful watercolor painting of spring flowers. We’ll mix drawing and painting and use exaggerated colors to create fun, stylized art. This class is appropriate for painters of any level—no prior experience required!

Animal Painting at Bryn Du Art Center
Create paintings inspired by the animal kingdom. In this four-session class, students will build the skills to paint furry, feathered, or scaly creatures. Students will choose an animal subject and take their painting from the drawing stage to completed painting. In each class we’ll practice techniques to mix color, create texture, and add detail to our paintings.

Family Nature Printmaking at Bryn Du Art Center
Make art with the whole family! In this workshop, we'll make unique art with natural materials. In this workshop, we will use spring flowers, stamping, and printmaking techniques to make art postcards. Each participant will take home their own set of hand-made cards with no prior art experience needed.
Sunday, May 4. 1:00pm - 3:00pm. $30 per student. For all ages (children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult).
